Shun Yi Sdn Bhd (SYSB) started off as a partnership, trading under the name of Soon Aik Hardware on 17 September 1979 as a dealers in general hardware, plumbing materials and sanitary accessories.

SYSB was incorporated on 14 January 1983. Since then SYSB has successfully expanded it's activities covering from distribution network to projects. This makes SYSB became the most dynamic leading company in plumbing industries for local market.

Besides, SYSB has also set up a subsidiary company for sanitary wares and bathroom accessories on 19 December 1991 under the name of HOMEWISH SANITARY & TILING SDN BHD. On 1st of March 2000, HOMEWISH was appointed as the sole agent in Malaysia for "Armitage Shanks" sanitary and hospital wares manufactured by P.T. Indo American Ceramics and Armitage Shanks Limited, United Kingdom.
